Dates and Logos for the 2019 Little League® World Series Tournaments Announced

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (November 9, 2018) – Fans from around the world can begin making their plans to attend each of the seven Little League® World Series Tournaments in 2019, as the dates and logos were officially approved at the annual fall meeting of the Little League International Board of Directors on Friday, Nov. 9. In addition to the dates for each of the events, the official logos for all seven World Series events were revealed.


“Each of our Little League World Series events provide a memorable experience for the players, parents, volunteers, and families who come to visit from all around the globe,” said Stephen D. Keener, Little League President and CEO. “These tournaments spotlight the hard work and dedication that can be found at local Little League programs in thousands of communities throughout the year, and we are looking forward to the start of another great Little League season in 2019.”

The final phase of the 2019 International Tournament schedule begins on July 27 with the Senior League Baseball World Series in Easley, S.C. On July 28, the Little League Intermediate (50/70) Baseball World Series and the Junior League Softball World Series will commence, and a day later, the Senior League Softball World Series will begin in Lower Sussex, Del. On August 7, the Little League Softball® World Series will get underway in Portland, Ore., and on August 11, the Junior League Baseball World Series will begin its eight-day slate. As it does every year, the tournament schedule will conclude with the Little League Baseball® World Series from August 15-25 in South Williamsport, Pa. Detailed game schedules will be available in spring 2019 at LittleLeague.org.

Over the course of 30 days, approximately 935 Little Leaguers® ages 10 to 16 from 78 different baseball and softball teams around the world will compete to determine the seven World Series champions for 2019. The Little League World Series tournaments provide affordable and exciting opportunities for families and sports fans from around the world to enjoy one of the premier sporting tournaments.

Little League Baseball® World Series (August 15-25, 2019)
Eligible Age: 10- to 12-year-olds
Location: South Williamsport, Pa. (Volunteer Stadium & Howard J. Lamade Stadium)
History: 61st Season in South Williamsport; 73rd Season Overall
2018 Champion: West Region - Honolulu (Hawaii) Little League

Little League® Intermediate (50/70) Baseball World Series (July 28 – August 4, 2019)
Eligible Age: 11- to 13-year-olds
Location: Livermore, Calif. (Max Baer Park)
History: 7th Season in Livermore; 7th Season Overall
2018 Champion: Asia-Pacific Region - West Seoul (South Korea) Little League

Junior League Baseball World Series (August 11-18, 2019)
Eligible Age: 12- to 14-year-olds
Location: Taylor, Mich. (Heritage Park)
History: 39th Season in Taylor; 39th Season Overall
2018 Champion: Asia-Pacific Region – Shing-Ming Junior LL (Taoyuan, Chinese Taipei)

Senior League Baseball World Series (July 27 – August 3, 2019)
Eligible Age: 13- to 16-year-olds
Location: Easley, S.C. (Easley Recreation Complex)
History: 3rd Season in Easley; 59th Season Overall

Little League Softball® World Series (August 7-14, 2019)
Eligible Age: 10- to 12-year-olds
Location: Portland, Ore. (Alpenrose Stadium)
History: 26th Season in Portland; 46th Season Overall
2018 Champion: Central Region – Wheelersburg (Ohio) LL

Junior League Softball World Series (July 28 – August 3, 2019)
Eligible Age: 12- to 14-year-olds
Location: Kirkland, Wash. (Everest Park)
History: 21st Season in Kirkland; 21st Season Overall
2018 Champion: West Region – Snow Canyon LL (Santa Clara, Utah)

Senior League Softball World Series (July 29 – August 4, 2019)
Eligible Age: 13- to 16-year-olds
Location: Lower Sussex, Del. (Lower Sussex Little League Complex)
History: 19th Season in Lower Sussex; 44th Season Overall
2018 Champion: Asia-Pacific Region – Tanauan LL (Batangas, Philippines)
