Video Spotlighting History of the Little League Baseball® World Series Wins 2018 ISHY Award

“It All Started Here” highlights the impact that the Little League Baseball® World Series has had on all those who have made it to Williamsport.
SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (October 11, 2018) – The World of Little League®: Museum and Official Store was recently named the recipient of a 2018 ISHY Award, as presented by the International Sports Heritage Association (ISHA), for a feature spotlighting the history of the Little League Baseball® World Series (LLBWS). “It All Started Here,” a video produced for Little League® International by 20/20 Visual Media, shares the reflections of a variety of LLBWS graduates on their experience in Williamsport and how those summers were just the beginning of a successful life in sports and impacting others.

“It is an honor to be recognized by the International Sports Heritage Association as the recipient of a 2018 ISHY Award,” said Lance Van Auken, Little League Vice President and Executive Director of the Museum. “The Little League Baseball World Series has been an iconic piece of history in Williamsport and for all those who have come through it. This great video feature shares the impact that playing here has had on so many individuals over the years and we hope it will inspire everyone to come to visit the World of Little League Museum and learn about the rich history that Little League has established here in Williamsport.”

The ISHY Awards program was established to provide recognition for excellence in publications and exhibits by all member sports museums, hall of fame, or sports heritage organizations, regardless of size or budget, based upon a competition evaluated by ISHA members and communications professionals.
