Mid-Atlantic Region Powers Past Great Lakes Region, 15-5

Even though Great Lakes and Mid-Atlantic both had their opportunities, it was Mid-Atlantic that eventually prevailed 15-5 on Saturday. The game was tied at five with Mid-Atlantic batting in the top of the third when Chris Andrews singled off of Will Pflaum, driving in one run.


Great Lakes captured the lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for Great Lakes.

Great Lakes evened things up at five in the bottom of the second inning. An error scored two runs for Great Lakes.

Great Lakes scored three runs in the second inning. Great Lakes's big inning was driven by a groundout and a home run by Joey Randazzo.

Mid-Atlantic scored nine runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for Mid-Atlantic came thanks to a home run by Chris Cartnick, a single by Charlie Meglio, a double by Ryan Kinsman, and a home run by Chris.

Chris Andrews earned the win for Mid-Atlantic. He threw one and two-thirds innings, giving up three runs, three hits, and striking out one. Will Pflaum took the loss for Great Lakes. He tossed one and one-third innings, allowing three runs, three hits, and striking out two.

Joey started the game for Great Lakes. He tossed one and two-thirds innings, surrendering five runs, five hits, and striking out two. Tai Mann started the game for Mid-Atlantic. He pitched one inning, giving up two runs, one hit, striking out one, and walking one.

Drew Hill and Joey each drove in one run to lead Great Lakes.

Mid-Atlantic collected 14 hits. Chris, Ryan, Charlie, and J.R. Osmond each collected multiple hits for Mid-Atlantic. Chris went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Mid-Atlantic in hits.
