South Williamsport, PA - Isaac Garcia went 1-3 and hit a home run as Southwest took home a 1-0 victory over Northwest in six innings at Lamade Stadium on Friday. He homered in the fourth inning.

Jarrett Tadlock was in control on the mound. Northwest managed just one hit off of the Southwest's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out eight during his 4 1/3 innings of work.

Despite the loss, Northwest's Dylan MacLean dominated Southwest's batters, giving up one run and striking out 12.

MacLean was the game's losing pitcher.

Southwest closer Garcia put away the final five outs to record the save.

Southwest managed to score one run in the fourth inning on a solo home run by Garcia.
