South Williamsport, PA - A superb effort by Wei Hung Chou lifted Asia-Pacific to a 16-4 win in four innings over Canada on Saturday at Volunteer Stadium.

Chou racked up six RBIs on three hits for Asia-Pacific. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third and fourth innings.

Everything was working at the plate for the Asia-Pacific in the first. Asia-Pacific's bats caught fire leading to nine runs. Asia-Pacific scored in the first on an RBI single by Wei Lun Wang, an error, a two-run double by Bo Rui Chen, an RBI single by Shu Wei Lin, an RBI single by Cheng Yu Yang, and a three-run home run by Yen Cheng Yu.

Asia-Pacific hit four home runs in the win. Additional home runs for Asia-Pacific came when Chou homered in the third and fourth innings and Hao En Chen homered in the fourth inning.

Yang got the win for Asia-Pacific. He allowed two runs over one inning. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Darius Opdam-Bak took the loss for Canada. He allowed nine runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked three and struck out one.
