2014 LLWS - Little League World Series: Philadelphia and Phenom Mo’ne Davis to Face Las Vegas on Wednesday

Williamsport, PA - The four undefeated teams who remain in the 2014 Little League World Series presented by Kellogg’s Frosted Flakeswill face off against each other on Wednesday, Aug. 20, beginning at 3 p.m. ET when South Korea meets defending champion Japan on ESPN. At 7:30 p.m., Las Vegas will take on Philadelphia and potentially, ace pitcher Mo’ne Davis, also on ESPN. Davis pitched a complete game shutout in her first appearance in the series and in the Mid-Atlantic Finals. Both winners will advance to the International and U.S. Championship games on Saturday, Aug. 23, on ABC.


Karl Ravech will call the action with Hall of Famer and analyst Barry Larkin, analyst Nomar Garciaparra and reporter Jaymee Sire. Additionally, SportsCenter with Jay Crawford and Chris McKendry will emanate from Williamsport, Pa. on Tuesday, August 19, from 11 a.m. through 1 p.m.

Other teams that remain in contention include Chicago; Cumberland, R.I.; Lynnwood, Wash.; Pearland, Texas; Australia; Puerto Rico; Venezuela and Mexico. Those teams will continue to play throughout the week to determine who will advance to Saturday’s championship games. The World Series championship game will take place onSunday, Aug. 24, at 3 p.m. on ABC.
