2014 LLWS - Southwest moves on with impressive win over Northwest

South Williamsport, PA - Southwest beat Northwest on Monday 11-4 at Lamade in six innings.
Southwest scored five runs in the sixth on two wild pitches, a passed ball, and a two-run single by Bryce Laird.

Layne Roblyer racked up three RBIs on one hit for Southwest.
Tyler Durbin racked up two RBIs on two hits for Northwest. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.
Landon Donley recorded the win for Southwest. He allowed three runs over three innings. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered five hits.
Logan Kruse couldn't get it done on the mound for Northwest, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
After pushing across three runs in the bottom of the fourth, Northwest faced just a 5-3 deficit. An RBI double by Durbin, an RBI single by Tygan Duncan, and an RBI double by Karsen Tjarneberg triggered Northwest's comeback. Finally, Brandon Sliwinski got Ian Michael to strike out to end the threat.
