2014 LLWS - Australia marks first win defeating Europe-Africa

Australia beat Europe-Africa on Saturday 10-1 at Volunteer in six innings.
Australia scored five runs in the fifth on an RBI double by Tarrant Reimers, an RBI single by Etienne Charette, a steal of home by Charette, an RBI single by Javier Pelkonen, and a steal of home by Jordano Vivona.

Pelkonen racked up three RBIs on three hits for Australia.
Callum Schipp racked up 11 strikeouts in the Australia win. Callum Schipp allowed one earned run, three hits and one walk over 5 1/3 innings.
Australia easily handled Europe-Africa pitching as six hitters combined for 14 hits, seven RBIs and seven runs scored.
Marek Krejcirik took the loss for Europe-Africa. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed one run.
This is Australia's first ever win in a Little League World Series and the second year they have traveled to Williamsport seeking the big prize of World Champions.
