The World of Little League® Hosts Linda Ruth-Tosetti, Babe Ruth’s Granddaughter, at the Newly Reopened Museum

The World of Little League Museum, Route 15 in South Williamsport, Pa
South Williamsport, PA - The public was invited to join Linda Ruth-Tosetti for a public appearance, as she shares stories from her grandfather, Babe Ruth’s 1934 baseball tour of Japan. The World of Little League Peter J. McGovern Museum and Official Store is currently displaying Mr. Ruth’s complete, game-worn uniform from that tour. It is the first time that Mrs. Tosetti is seeing the uniform.

Joining Mrs. Tosetti will be Ronald Rosser. Mr. Rosser received the Medal of Honor for his service during the Korean War. He will visit a display in the Hall of Excellence about Ross McGinnis, a Little League graduate who was awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously.

General Public Admission: General admission will be $5. Children under 4 years old are admitted free, and children 5-12 are admitted for $2. The senior admission fee is $3, for those 62 and older.

The World of Little League officially reopened on June 15, 2013 after a 9-month, $4.3 million renovation.
