Babe Ruth’s granddaughter visits the World of Little League Museum

South Williamsport, PA - Linda Ruth-Tosetti, the granddaughter of Babe Ruth was the guest of Little League Baseball and Softball as she toured the newly renovated World of Little League Museum.
Linda Ruth-Tosetti was escorted by Stephen Keener, CEO of Little League and the curator of the World of Little League, Lance Van Auken. Ms. Ruth-Tosetti viewed for the first time the only known complete uniform worn by “The Babe" which was purchased in 2005 for over $750,000. The uniform was donated to Little league by an anonymous donor and delivered to the World of Little League Museum.

Linda Ruth-Tosetti, the granddaughter of Babe RuthLinda then spoke to a small group of visitors, guests and media about Babe Ruth’s 1934 tour of Japan. She talked about how baseball gave Ruth an outlet when he was young. If it were not for baseball, Babe Ruth’s life would have been very, very different.

Ms. Ruth-Tosetti then signed photos of her grandfather and presented them to visitors.
