Holiday Events Geared Up For World of Little League® Museum

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (November 15, 2018) – Each year, the holidays provide family and friends with a variety of exciting events and opportunities, and this holiday season, visitors from all over can enjoy themselves at the World of Little League® Museum and Official Store. Over the course of the next month, Santa Claus will be making a visit, new toys are being collected for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, and unique gifts will be available to satisfy all your holiday shopping needs.

Dates and Logos for the 2019 Little League® World Series Tournaments Announced

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (November 9, 2018) – Fans from around the world can begin making their plans to attend each of the seven Little League® World Series Tournaments in 2019, as the dates and logos were officially approved at the annual fall meeting of the Little League International Board of Directors on Friday, Nov. 9. In addition to the dates for each of the events, the official logos for all seven World Series events were revealed.

World of Little League® Museum and WVIA Pair Up For Kids’ Day Event on November 17

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (November 2, 2018) – The World of Little League® Museum and Official Store will be hosting its annual Kids’ Day on Saturday, November 17. Co-hosted by WVIA Public Media, Pittston, and partially funded by a grant administered by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, the event will include arts and crafts, games, interactive experiences, story time, photo opportunities, and a visit from Nature Cat of PBS Kids and Little League’s lovable mascot, Dugout.

World of Little League® Museum Joins Hundreds of Museums in “Bells of Peace” Event on November 11

Museum will ring its bell 21 times at 11 a.m. to remember the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended World War I
SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – On Sunday, November 11, the World of Little League® Museum and Official Store will be joining hundreds of museums from around the United States in a commemorative “Bells of Peace” event, as part of the U.S. WWI Centennial Commission, to pay tribute to the 100th Anniversary of the armistice of World War I in a salute to Veteran’s Day.
