World of Little League® Museum Excited to Participate in 10th Annual National Blue Star Museums Program

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Starting on Armed Forces Day (Saturday, May 18), the World of Little League® Museum and Official Store (525 U.S. 15, South Williamsport, Pa.) will be joining museums around the United States in the10th Annual National Blue Star Museums Program, which provides free admission to families of those active military and veterans who provide proper identification.

All Little League® World Series Games to be Covered Live on ESPN Networks and ESPN+ for First Time

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – This summer, history will be made as every game in each of the seven divisions of the Little League® World Series will be covered live on ESPN networks and streaming services for the first time ever. A total of 343 Little League Baseball and Softball World Series and Regional tournament games will be aired live over the course of the summer (up from 231 games televised in 2018), with 261 airing exclusively on ESPN+, the direct-to-consumer sports streaming service.

‘Mother’s May’ Program to Grant Free Admission for Life to Mothers at the World of Little League® Museum

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (May 2, 2019) – To help celebrate Mother’s Day this Spring, The World of Little League Museum and Official Store (525 U.S. 15, South Williamsport, Pa.) will be launching a new “Mother’s May” Program that will grant mothers visiting the Museum during the month of May with free admission for life.

Mothers who visit the Museum during the month of May will receive free admission for life.

(April 29, 2019) – On the heels of T-Mobile becoming the Official Wireless Sponsor of Little League® International, the two have teamed up to announce the first-ever T-Mobile Little League Home Run Derby. Starting today, leagues from around the country can begin conducting local qualifying competitions to identify the top youth long-ball hitters for both baseball and softball.

Mother’s Day Spring Craft Event Set for Saturday, May 4 at the World of Little League®Museum and Official Store

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (April 18, 2019) – Held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, The World of Little League® Museum and Official Store (252 U.S. Route 15) will be offering visitors a chance to make their own succulent planter craft just in time for Mother’s Day and the beginning of the Spring season.

“For the first time, our Museum is offering its visitors an incredible opportunity to come in and create a custom planter with the help of one of our local gardeners and plant enthusiasts,” said Lance Van Auken, Little League Vice President and Executive Director of the Museum. “This is a perfect opportunity for visitors of all ages to come out to the Museum and create a memorable craft while also having a chance to learn more about gardening and explore the history of Little League throughout our Museum.”
